Minnewaska is on the west side of Glenwood north of Lake Minnewaska 30 minutes west of Sauk Centre and 30 minutes south of Alexandria.

The golf course is a challenging layout traversing hilly and sloping, fairways providing stunning views of the Lake. There's homes on a couple of holes but otherwise it's nothing but natural corridors and trees lining the fairways. The course has been around since the 1920s, but was updated by Joel Goldstrand and plays to 6,483 yards from the tips, 72.0/139, course/slope ratings and 6,212 yards from the white tees, 70.9/136.
