Pezhekee National Golf Course is about two hours northwest of Minneapolis in the Glacial Ridge area of the west-central part of the state.

The golf course is a parkland-style design through maple, basswood, and oak-lined fairways on a large tract of land, with each hole isolated and unique, providing occasional views of Lake Minnewaska. There are various water hazards with ponds, lakes, and streams and numerous sand traps at the fairways' landing zones and around the greens. There's also a 19th hole and it's not a bar, it's a 140 yard, par 3 playoff hole. From the tips, it plays to 7,263 yards, par 72, 75.2/138 ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Bill and Jim Peters in the 1960s.
