The Mohegan Sun Golf Club is 45 minutes east of Hartford on the south side of Willmantic and part of the Mohegan Sun Casino located 15 miles to the south.

The layout is an upscale design with a mix of parkland and links-style holes over rolling terrain with a generous amount of sand and water in play and massive green complexes. It's well out in the Connecticut countryside without homes or development along the course with each hole mostly isolated. It can play to 6,790 yards, 73.0/133, course/slope ratings from the tips with the white tees playing to 6,111 yards, 70.2/126, course/slope ratings. The layout was originally designed by Geoffrey Cornish in the early 1960s with a renovation in 2002 by Steven Kay and further work by Robert McNeil.
