The Monroe Golf Club is located between Detroit and Toledo off I-75 at exit 15 to the west in Monroe.

The golf course is a classic parkland layout with separate and unique fairways defined by old-growth hardwood trees. Three ponds and a stream impact play on potentially five holes overall, and deep sand bunkers defend most of the modest oval or kidney-shaped greens. Donald Ross designed the course, which has three sets of tees and tips playing to 6,400 yards, 71.0/130 course/slope ratings.
