The Monticello Golf Club abuts I-94 to the north just past the Monticello Exit.

The golf course is an exercise in golf course management both off the tee and on approach to the greens with narrow, tree lined fairway corridors, Otter Creek and numerous ponds, multiple doglegs and the occasional sand bunker. From the middle, white tees it's 6,157 yards 70.6/123, course/slope ratings with the original 9 holes designed by Tim Murphy and an expansion to 18 holes in 1987 by Joel Goldstrand.
