Cedar Creek is 40 minutes northwest of downtown Minneapolis off I-94 at Albertville to the south.

The golf course is a parkland layout partially through a residential community with homes bordering several exterior holes. Water is the dominate feature at Cedar Creek with ponds or wetlands in play on all but two holes in addition to a healthy dose of sand bunkers positioned at the landing zones and defending the greens. There's three sets of tees with the tips playing to a short 6,060 yards, 66.8/127, course/slope ratings, designed by Williams Gill & Associates in 1999.
