The Mooresville Golf Club is a municipal golf course located 25 miles north of downtown Charlotte off I-77 at exit 35 to the east.

The golf course is a parkland layout over slightly rolling terrain along fairways defined by stands of mature hardwoods at the margins. There's minimal water hazards in play, but 68 sand bunkers defend the fairways and greens. It can play to 6,803 yards off the back tees with three shorter tees. The original 9 holes were designed by Donald Ross, the back 9 was designed by Porter Gibson with a redesign by Kris Spence in 2016.
