The Mooresville Golf Club is a municipal golf course located 25 miles north of uptown Charlotte off I-77 at exit 35 to the east.

The golf course is a parkland layout over slightly rolling terrain along fairways defined by stands of mature hardwoods at the margins. There are minimal water hazards in play, but 68 sand bunkers defend the fairways and greens. It can play to 6,803 yards off the back tees with three shorter tees. The original nine holes were designed by Donald Ross, and the back nine was designed by Porter Gibson, with a redesign by Kris Spence in 2016.
