Mountain Ranch is 1 1/2 hours north of Little Rock in the Greers Ferry Lake and Little Red River area.

The golf course is a parkland layout with generous fairways on the front side while the back side is narrow and constricting off the tee. The well defended greens are liberal in size with various shapes and run with the slope of the hillside. There's fluctuating degrees of elevation change with the 15th having a 80 foot drop from the tee to the fairway. The course plays to 6,780 yards, 72.7/139, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter sets of tees, designed by Edmond Ault.
