Mountain Ranch is 1 1/2 hours north of Little Rock in the Greers Ferry Lake and Little Red River area.

The golf course is a parkland layout with generous fairways on the front side while the back side is narrow and constricting off the tee. The well-defended greens are liberal in size with various shapes and run with the slope of the hillside. There are fluctuating degrees of elevation change with the 15th having a 80 foot drop from the tee to the fairway. The course plays to 6,780 yards, 72.7/139, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter sets of tees, designed by Edmond Ault.
