Tannenbaum is in the Ozark Mountains along the north side of Greers Ferry Lake on a peninsula surrounded by the Lake.

The entire golf course is tree-lined and narrow at times with an impressive amount of elevation change, especially #12, where the drop is 130 feet straight downhill to a semi-island green carved from the mountainside. It's a John Floyd design of 6,608 yards, 72.7/142, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees.
