Native Oaks is east of Escondido off Valley Center Road winding through a residential community up against the hills and natural areas.

A target style layout with the front nine along narrow fairways separated by ridges, rock outcroppings, trees, and tall grasses while the back nine opens up with scattered trees along the fairways bordering with the homes. It can play to 6,670 yards, par 72 from the back tees, 78.5/141, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Dave Ginkel in 2003.
