The Golf Club of California is about an hour north of downtown San Diego in Fallbrook off the I-15 at Mission.

The layout is etched through a canyon and a residential development over rolling terrain with oak, sycamore, and eucalyptus trees lining the fairways. The course maintains your interest and requires shot making with a moderate amount of sand traps along the fairways and greens in addition to ponds and creeks bordering numerous holes. It can play to 6,888 yards from the tips, 74.1/144, course/slope ratings and three shorter tees, designed by Wade Cable and Johnny Potts.
