North Shore is in Sneads Ferry off US 17 near N Topsail Beach about 30 minutes north of Wilmington.

The course borders a residential development just off the Intracoastal on the perimeter holes while the balance are isolated and bordered by wetlands and dense forests. It's target golf with numerous water features, narrow fairways and approaches, and a generous amount of sand traps at the landing zones and greens. From the back tees the course plays to 6,866 yards, 73.1/135, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Bob Moore.
