Paradise Point Golf Course is located on a bend in the New River at Camp LeJeune on Brewster Boulevard, about two miles past the Naval Hospital, with two 18-hole, championship-level courses.
The Scarlet course is a generally playable, traditional layout with pine-tree-lined fairways over flat land without much in the way of trouble. However, numerous doglegs dominate the course. It's shorter at 5,865 yards from the tips, par of 70, 67.2/112, course/slope ratings, and was designed by Fred Findlay in the 1940s.
The Gold is the championship-caliber layout wandering over similar terrain along broad, pine tree-lined fairways with a mix of long and short holes, multiple water hazards, and well-bunkered fairways and greens. There's a fine set of par 3s, and a couple of the par 5s are reachable in two for scoring opportunities. George Cobb designed the Gold in the 1940s, and it plays to 7,040 yards from the tips, 74.2/129, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
