The Oak Terrace Golf Club and resort is 30 minutes north of Vandalia on the south side of Pana just off US 51.

The golf course is on the south side of a residential community along Byers Lake with the balance of the holes bordered by farmland. It's a parkland design along tree lined fairways over land with some change in elevation, water in play on half the holes, numerous doglegs, and sand bunkers primarily defending the greens. It plays to 6,375 yards from the back tees, 70.5/123, course/slope ratings with four shorter tee boxes, designed by Greg Holthaus in 1992.
