Ocean Creek is located on Fripp Island about 45 minutes east of Beaufort, SC.

The layout was built around the salt marshes and wetlands over mounded fairways through the dunes leading to small to mid-sized, well defended greens. It's very much target golf without much room off the fairway or around the greens for errant shots. The course measures 6,586 yards, par 71, 71.9/129, course/slope ratings from the back tees with two shorter tees. The course was Davis Love's first stab at golf course architecture and opened in 1995.
