The St. Lawrence University Golf Course is a little over an hour north of Watertown and 10 minutes south of Pottsdam in Canton.

The golf course is a classic parkland layout winding along tree-lined fairways through a forest with generally unique and isolated holes. There are numerous ponds and streams in play, along with sand bunkers generally positioned around the somewhat small greens. The original nine holes here were built in the mid-1920s by Devereux Emmet, the second nine by Geoffrey Cornish, and it plays to 6,207 yards from the White tees, 70.5/123, course/slope ratings.
