The Orleans CC is just off I-91 exit 26, to the east of Orleans, 20 miles south of the Canadian border in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.

The golf course is a classic, beginning as a 6-hole layout in the 1920s with design work by Alex Reid. The routing is parkland style, along tree-lined fairways over a slightly rolling topography. The front nine is a stern test over the back, but shotmakers will find it easy to score well here. The fairways are forgiving off the tee; there's a moderate amount of sand both greenside and along the fairways, and a couple of small ponds affecting play. The course is short at 6,185 yards from the tips, 69.3/121, course/slope ratings for a par of 72 with three shorter tee boxes.
