Park Hills CC is on the south side of Altoona adjoining I-99 to the south at the Plank Road exit.

The golf course is a classic, parkland layout on slightly undulating terrain in a mostly natural setting in the Allegheny Mountains. There's several narrow, tree lined chutes for fairways while others open up a bit with a moderate amount of sand bunkers along the fairways and greens and several water hazards in play. It's rather short at 6,031 yards, 69.4/126, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees. The original nine holes opened in 1927, designed by James Harrison, a second nine was added in the 1960s.
