Pelican Point is located about 30 minutes southeast of Baton Rouge on the north bank of the Mississippi River in Gonzales just off I-10 at exit 179, 40 minutes west of the New Orleans airport.

The Links course is the championship layout with most of the holes meandering through an upscale, residential community. It moves along generous, mounded fairways with with an abundance of water hazards and sand bunkers dominating the landing zones and greens. It plays to 6,931 yards, 73.3/129 course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees. The Lakes course and appeals to families and beginners as it's a 9 hole, par 35 layout at 2,800 yards.
