Pendleton is located off I-95 between Richmond and Fredericksburg at exit 110 to the west to the Jefferson Davis Highway.

The course is a parkland layout over the rolling hills of northern Virginia along broad, tree lined fairways bordered by tall fescue grasses with sand traps lining the fairways and securing the greens.
