Pilot Knob is just south of Pilot Mountain off US 52 near Pilot Mountain State Park

The golf course provides for a fair amount of elevation change as it climbs through rolling tree lined fairways with lakes, streams, and sand bunkers scattered about in a setting with views of the mountains and valleys throughout the course. The course was designed by Gene Hamm and is a short par 70, 6,225-yards, 69.7/130, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees.
