The Cross Creek CC is on the north side of Mount Airy just east of the Andy Griffith Parkway.

The golf course meanders along Lovills Creek in a scenic setting at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's a shot maker's layout with seven water hazards and sand traps positioned along the tree-lined fairways, guarding the undulating greens' approaches. The layout plays to 6,157 yards from the White tees, 70.1/127 course, and slope ratings, designed by Joe Lee in the early 1970s with a refresh by Kris Spence.
