Pointe South is about 10 minutes south of Augusta on GA 25.

The course is a parkland layout over rolling hills along narrow pine and dogwood, tree lined fairways with numerous water hazards and sand traps in play, and a course management drill softened by the 4,000 azaleas in the spring. It plays to 6,460 from the tips, 70.1/119, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Tim Rivers and Joe Clement.
