Providence Golf Club is off South Providence Road south of the Midlothian Turnpike exit off the Powhite Parkway in southwest Richmond.

The course is a parkland layout in a mostly natural setting save for homes along a few fairways. The layout features multiple water hazards and wetlands with a variety of sizes and shapes of sand bunker complexes as it moves over land with a slight change in elevation. There's four sets of tees overall with the tips playing to 6,529 yards, 71.2/134, course/slope ratings, designed by Lester George.
