Rancho Park is a municipal golf course operated by the City of LA located on Pico Blvd near the northeastern corner of the I-10/I-405 intersection.
The layout's generally broad fairways are lined with mature trees and a standard cut of rough with a modest amount of sand bunkers defending the greens and the occasional fairway. The golf course plays to 6,839 yards, par 71 with a 72.6/129, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees. The course is a classic, originally a country club tied to the Ambassador Hotel and initially designed by Herbert Fowler in 1922. The present layout dates to 1947 and is attributed to prolific California architects William P. Bell and William H. Johnson and was the early venue of the LA Open years 1956–67, 1969–72, 1983.
