The Rancocas Golf Club is 30 minutes north of downtown Philadelphia, off I-295 at Rancocas Road to the west, within a residential community adjoining Rancocas Creek.

The layout is a parkland-style design with an open, roomy front nine while the back side moves along more constricted fairways. The layout is characterized by hardwood tree-lined fairways over slightly rolling terrain with numerous doglegs, multiple water hazards, and an abundance of sand traps at the landing zones and guarding the greens. There are four sets of tees overall, with the tips playing to 6,602 yards, 71.5/131, course/slope ratings, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. in 1966.
