Redlands Mesa is within an upscale, residential community on the southwest side of Grand Junction near the Colorado National Monument traversing a large tract of land along unique and isolated fairways.

The golf course has impressive elevation changes on a number of holes with half of the fairways playing downhill from elevated tees. It flows along natural desert terrain with native prairie grasses and massive rock outcroppings at the fairways borders and an array of sizes and shapes of sand bunkers defending the fairways and greens. It's very scenic overall providing views of the Grand Mesa, the Bookcliffs, and most of the Colorado National Monument throughout the course.
