Robber's Row is located on the marsh side of the Port Royal Plantation.

The golf course is a parkland design over level terrain through stands of magnolia and live oaks on former Civil War grounds featuring numerous historical markers describing events which took place on the Island. A few of the fairways are wide and forgiving, but the approaches to the greens are narrow and the course's major defense with water hazards and sand bunkers defending the raised, undulating greens. The course can play to 6,657 yards, 73.3/134, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees, originally designed by George W. Cobb and Willard Byrd in 1967 with a 1994 redesign by Pete Dye.
