Rock Creek is located on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay within a residential development.

The golf course is an interesting layout traversing numerous doglegs along wetlands, pine tree lined fairways, and the Rock Creek basin over a modest amount of elevation change. The greens are average in size and contoured with moderate undulation and well protected by sand bunkers. There's four sets of tees overall, from the rear tees the course measures 6,920 yards, par 72, 72.9/129, course/slope ratings, designed by Earl Stone in the early 1990s.
