Rocky Branch is 35 miles north of Augusta on the southeast side of Lincolnton just west of the Savannah River.

The golf course ambles along fairways defined by stands of pines trees over slightly rolling topography. There's a stream traversing the layout from north to south as well as a couple of ponds impacting play with sand bunkers mostly defending the generous green complexes. It will play to 6,475 yards, 71.9/126, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, designed by C.D. Bentley.
