Rouges Roost is northeast of Syracuse in Bridgeport on the south side of Oneida Lake on Route 31 with two 18 hole layouts.

Both courses are parkland style designs along tree lined fairways over slightly rolling hills. The East is an updated, championship level layout and challenging with numerous doglegs, several long par 4s and par 5s, water in play on over half the holes, but a minimum of sand traps. It was designed by Daryl Johnson and Bill Galloway and from the tips is 6,708 yards, the White tees are 6,120 yards, 69.2/120 course/slope ratings.

The West course shorter and more straightforward with water in play on half the holes but little in the way of sand bunkers. It's 5,907 yards from the White tees, 67.8/120, course/slope ratings, designed by Daryl Johnston in the 1960s.
