Sable Creek Golf Course is southeast of Akron off I-77 at Arlington Road then south to Turkeyfoot Lake/Rt 619 east of Hartville.

There's three nines surrounded by farmland over mostly level land winding through tree lined fairways with streams along a number of holes but but a sparing use of sand bunkers. The Black and Maroon combination is the toughest with yardage at 6,870 from the black tees, 71.3/123, course/slope ratings. Black and Gold is 6,540 yards from the tips, 70.6/121, and Maroon and Gold at 6,330 yards from the black tees, 69.8/120, designed by Dave Cavalier.
