The Sagamore Golf Club is on a hill overlooking Lake George and the Adirondacks off NY 9 in Bolton Landing.

The golf course is a classic Donald Ross design from the 1920s jaunting along broad fairways through open meadowland with native heather at the margins and along rolling, white birch, tree lined fairways. There's several water hazards in play, but the course's main defense is the deep faced "Ross" signature sand bunkers defending the small, raised greens. It's a par of 70 and from the tips is 6,821 yards, 74.0/137, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
