The Sagamore Golf Club is on a hill overlooking Lake George and the Adirondacks off NY 9 in Bolton Landing.

The golf course is a classic Donald Ross design from the 1920s, which moves along broad fairways through open meadowland with native heather at the margins and over rolling, white birch, tree-lined fairways. Several water hazards are in play, but the course's main defense is the deep-faced "Ross" signature sand bunkers defending the small, raised greens. It's a par of 70, and from the tips is 6,821 yards, 74.0/137, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
