Sandy Ridge is northeast of Midland off US 10 at Wheeler wandering over a large, natural tract of land surrounded by farmland and forests.

The layout is a parkland design with a mix of broad and confining, fairways lined by trees, water in some form or fashion on 15 holes, and a sparing use of sand bunkers greenside. From the tips it's 6,409 yards 71.0/134, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Bruce Matthews.
