Sanford is a municipal golf course located north of Sanford at the northeastern intersection of US 1 and US 421.

The layout meanders over rolling contours along fairways defined by stands of pines trees or the deep woods. There's several ponds on the front nine and Buffalo Creek in play on the backside with deep sand bunkers defending the turtle back green complexes. It's a short, 6,233 yards, 70.5/129, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees with 9 holes allegedly designed by Donald Ross.
