Shell Landing is just west of Gautier on the coastal side of US 90 and is part of an upscale housing development.

The course is mostly open off the tee along broad fairways bordered by pine forests and natural areas. It navigates numerous doglegs, leading to generous, undulating, and quick greens, and it has an abundance of sand traps, wetlands, and tidal marshes. It was designed by Davis Love III and is 7,024 yards, 73.8/134, course/slope ratings from the back tes with four other sets of tees.
