Silver Lake is on the northern tip of Staten Island off the Staten Island Expressway at Clove.

The golf course is a parkland design roaming along the shores of Silver Lake amid the mass of Staten Island humanity. It is a shot-makers layout with narrow, tree-lined fairways leading to small, raised greens well protected by sand bunkers. The course was designed by John Van Kleek in the 1920s and is short at 6,238 yards, 69.6/116, course/slope ratings, par of 70 from the tips, with two shorter tees.
