Silver Lake is on the northern tip of Staten Island off the Staten Island Expressway at Clove.

The golf course is a parkland design roaming along the shores of Silver Lake in the midst of the mass of Staten Island humanity. It is a shot maker's layout with narrow, tree lined fairways leading to small, raised greens well protected by sand bunkers. The course was designed by John Van Kleek in the 1920s and is short at 6,238 yards, 69.6/116, course/slope ratings, par of 70 from the tips with two shorter tees.
