Silver Ridge is about 40 minutes south of Rockford, north of Oregon, on the west side of the Rock River.

The course is partially within a residential development over a large tract of rolling land with unique and isolated, tree-lined fairways. Silver Creek traverses the middle of the layout and comes into play frequently, and sand traps are positioned liberally along the landing areas and greens. It's 6,496 yards from the blue tees, 71.2/124 course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Lowell Beggs.
