Sky Mountain is a municipal golf course located just north of St George by 20 miles off I-15 on the south side of the Virgin River in Hurricane with Zion National Park and the Pine Valley Mountain range as a backdrop.

The layout is partially within a residential development on the south side of the Virgin River and wide open to the constant wind tunnel here. The setting is stunning with 360 degree mountain, red rock canyons, and valley vistas for miles. Several of the holes wind through the residential development while the balance are isolated and unique along natural borders with a surprising amount of elevation change. It's relatively short at 6,383 yards from the tips, 70.9/131, course/slope ratings and two shorter tees, designed by Jeff Hardin in 1996.
