The Snowmass Golf Club is within a resort, residential community in the middle of Snowmass just outside Aspen and open to outside play when residing in a rental unit on site.

The golf course is an open, links-style design set in a valley with 360 degree views of the surrounding mountain ranges. The green complexes and deep bunkers are the course's main defense although it requires course management off the tee for the optimum angle to the greens. It's a Jim Engh design of 7,006 yards from the black tees, 71.9/143, course/slope ratings with 4 other sets of tee boxes.
