South Shore is on the southeast side of Boston off Rt 3A at South St in Hingham about 30 minutes from downtown Boston.

The golf course is a classic, parkland layout over rolling topography lined by old growth, hardwood trees with demanding approach shots to elevated greens well protected by deep faced, sand traps. There's a blend of short and long par 4s, the par 5s are risk/reward if you choose, and the par 3s a delight. It plays to 6,470 yards from the tips, 71.8/128, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Wayne Stiles in the 1920s.
