George Wright is a municipal golf course off Washington St., southwest of Boston, in the Hyde Park area, adjoining the Stony Brook Reservation.

It's a classic parkland design- traversing treelined fairways over rolling contours with a few blind shots and numerous gentle doglegs. The greens are modest in size, crowned, and well-defended by deep sand bunkers. The course is on the short side but still challenging at par 70, 6,440 yards, 69.5/126, course/slope ratings from the back tees with two shorter tees, designed by Donald Ross and Walter Irving Johnson with restoration work by Mark Mungeam.
