St. Johns is south of St. Augustine of I-95 at FL 207 to the west in a residential community.

The throwback layout is over a level tract of land with homes bordering all exterior holes. There's a modest amount of sand bunkers in play, but water features on most holes, although the fairways tend to be open and generous. The course features Biarritz, Punchbowl, and Redan greens. There are five sets of tees, from 4,825 yards to 7,009 yards off the back tees. The middle tees are 5,977 yards, 68.2/125, course/slope ratings, designed by Robert Walker and redesigned by Erik Larsen.
