Sterling Farms is an upscale, municipal golf course in Stamford just off the Merritt Parkway at the High Ridge exit then east to Newfield Ave.

It's a parkland-style design without housing or development along the holes and is characterized by old-growth, tree-lined fairways over slightly rolling terrain. There are numerous water features, slight doglegs, and well-bunkered fairways and greens. There are five sets of tees with the tips playing to 6,651 yards, 72.5/132, course/slope ratings, originally designed by Geoffrey Cornish in the 1960s with redesign work by Robert McNeil in 2005.
