Stonebridge is about an hour east of Manhattan in Happauge on the north side of the intersection of the Northern Parkway and the Smithtown Bypass east of the Blydenburgh Park.

The course is parkland style design wandering through a residential development with half the holes lined with homes while the balance are along natural corridors. It's a test in course management which requires threading the tee ball through tree lined fairways while avoiding the sand traps and water hazards scattered about the landing zones and greens. Gil Hanse and George Bahto had a hand in the design of the course and it's not all that long at just over 6,245 yards from the tips, 70.9/132, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
