The Sun Valley Golf Course is located an hour northwest of the St Louis Lambert Field in Elsberry.

The golf course follows over rolling terrain along fairways defined by mature hardwoods with several fairways carved through the deep forest. There's water in play on 12 holes overall, eight of which are on the back nine, 10 or so sand bunkers, and interestingly, a 720 yard par 6. The golf course plays to 6,607 yards, 69.8/124, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, designed by Gary Kern.
