Woods Fort is on the north side of Troy about 40 minutes northwest of the St. Louis International Airport.

The layout roams over rolling, forested terrain along broad fairway corridors to generous greens with water features in play on four holes overall. It can play to 6,536 yards, 71.6/125, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tee boxes, designed by Jerry Loomis.
