Tanglewood is 30 minutes east of Columbia off I-70 at exit 146 to the south at Fulton.

The golf course partially borders a residential development, providing a combination of wide open links-style holes and some along tree-lined fairways. It's a challenging but playable layout with multiple water/wetlands, numerous doglegs, and a generous amount of sand bunkers. The course was designed by Jerry Loomis in the late 1990s. From the tips, it is 6,883 yards, and the white tees are 6,291 yards. It has a 70.7/123 course rating and slope ratings.
