Tanglewood Marsh is on the southwest side of Sault Sainte Marie, carved through the woods of the Moore Nature Preserve.

The layout is a parkland design gallivanting along the tree-lined fairways of marshland. It is generally straightforward save for several doglegs with water hazards or wetlands on over half the holes. It's a par of 70 and short at 5,851 yards from the black tees, 64.8/99, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Dr. Zevalka in the mid-1990s.
