Wild Bluff is in Michigan's UP, located 15 minutes west of Sault Ste Marie in Brimley. It borders the Hiawatha National Forest across from the Bay Mills Casino and overlooks Waishkey Bay on Lake Superior and the St. Mary's River.

The course lumbers through the woods, with most holes on higher land with lake views. All of the fairways are tree-lined with water hazards and sand traps positioned strategically in a setting that features moderate to dramatic changes in elevation. It's 7,056 yards and a 146 slope from the tips, the middle, Whites are at 6,179 yards, 70.5/134, course/slope ratings, designed by Mike Husby.
